    About this Demonstration

    Note: We're still working on the CloseUp® Mic System for Ukulele – this demo shows our current progress with this instrument. It is not the sound of a final product.

    This is a recording of an Earnest Instruments 'Tululele' ukulele and Drums being played in the same room using the Your Heaven® CloseUp® System, a high-end studio microphone (the Neumann KM150 – a small diaphragm cardiod condenser), and the uke's built-in internal pickup for comparison.

    If you toggle back and forth between the audio tracks, you can compare the sound of the Your Heaven® CloseUp® System with that of the Neumann mic. We think you'll be impressed.

    When the drummer enters, you can hear how well the Your Heaven® CloseUp® System isolates the ukulele from the sonic environment while maintaining sound quality similar to the well respected studio microphone. Amazingly, the drums don't affect the recording very much!

    While the drumming almost totally overpowers the ukulele in the mic recording, you can hardly hear it in the Your Heaven® CloseUp® System recording. The built-in pickup also provides excellent isolation, but sounds nowhere near as nice as our system. Our system will also do this when used on stage.
